Becky is a Board Certified Art Therapist, a Licensed Practicing Art Therapist, and an approved LPAT supervisor. She received a Master’s in Art through the Expressive Therapies Program at the University of Louisville in 1995 and has been a practicing art therapy since 1997. As of May 2016, Becky has completed a certificate in Gerontology from Bellarmine University.
For the majority of her career, Becky worked with children and adults with cognitive and developmental challenges at Hazelwood Center in Louisville. While at Hazelwood Center she created an Expressive Therapies program that included credentialed Art, Music and Movement therapists. She retired in 2009 and continued to maintain and expand her skills as a therapist by working at LET. Through LET, Becky has provided in-home therapy services for people with various life challenges including people with Alzheimer’s disease and Autism. She has also conducted groups with women facing specific life challenges through grant funding and has conducted various workshops in the Metro Louisville area.
